Business Analyst (Bilingual) - French and English - SaaS – Contract - ASAP start - Toronto/Montreal The Job

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. This role requires a driven and detail-oriented Bilingual Business Analyst. If you combine strong analytical and technical capabilities with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of business needs, this role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within a highly collaborative environment.

• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to gather and document business requirements for new features, enhancements, and integrations.
• Translate customer feedback and business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyse current workflows to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
• Serve as the primary bilingual (English/French) point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication throughout project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather insights and validate requirements.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Support solution design, development, and testing to ensure quality and alignment with requirements.
• Analyse customer and platform data to generate insights and create dashboards and reports.
• Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders to support decision‑making.
• Coordinate testing activities, validate solutions against requirements, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Advocate for clients by prioritizing enhancements that improve their overall experience and business value.

• 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within SaaS, Fin Tech, or B2B2C environments.
• Experience working on digital document management systems, client portals, or similar platforms is an asset.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including writing user stories and managing product backlogs.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights.
• Proficient in business analysis techniques such as process mapping, wire framing, and requirements gathering.
• Familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of SaaS architectures, APIs, and integration strategies is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
