Data Integration Specialist – SQL, Schema Interface

Overview  The Senior Schema & Interface Analyst will work closely with subject matter experts, architecture teams, and integration partners to analyze schemas, interface structures, and data interaction layers. The role focuses on data profiling, quality assessment, and source-to-target mapping to support large-scale data integration initiatives across multiple platforms, including FHIR-based ecosystems.
Experience

Required:

6–8 Years
Responsibilities   Schema Interface Analysis
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze schemas, interface structures, and data interaction layers (DIL).
Interpret source system models and technical documentation to support downstream design and integration decisions.

Data Profiling & Quality Assessment
Develop and execute SQL queries to profile source data.
Assess data quality, identify anomalies, and highlight gaps or inconsistencies that may impact data integration.

Collaboration with Architecture Teams
Work closely with FHIR architects and integration teams to clarify system behaviors, terminology, and workflows across multiple platforms.
Translate system-specific concepts into clear, concise, and consumable technical documentation.

Source-to-Target Mapping
Create comprehensive source-to-target (S2T) mapping documents to support data transformation and ingestion processes.
Ensure mappings align with business rules, data definitions, and integration requirements.

Essential Skills   Strong experience in schema and interface analysis
Hands-on expertise in data profiling and data quality assessment
Advanced SQL querying for source system analysis
Proven experience working with architecture and integration teams
Strong capability in source-to-target (S2T) mapping
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation
Desirable Skills   Microsoft SQL Server
Azure SQL
Azure Cloud services (AKS, Service Bus, Redis, Azure Data Explorer)
Observability tools such as New Relic
Knowledge of the Insurance domain
Exposure to No
