Project Overview
The Bank is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to support the Bank’s cloud strategy, which focuses on innovation and leveraging rapidly emerging cloud native services to meet the evolving needs of their customers.
The Cloud Dev Ops Automation Team is focused on the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of the core Cloud Platforms across the Bank.
The Cloud Platform Engineer will help evolve the core cloud platform by leveraging emerging best practices and tools, securely connecting to our strategic cloud suppliers, and providing a platform for innovation for the entire Bank.
Responsibilities
Design, implement and integrate the bank’s Cloud Platform, core, and shared services.
Design, implement and manage hybrid cloud connectivity and intra‑cloud networking.
Develop patterns for automated provisioning, management, scalability, and security.
Ensure all cloud solutions follow internally defined security and compliance standards and controls.
Be the major contributor to IaC modules: develop new modules and maintain existing modules.
Design and plan enterprise‑scale cloud environments including application dependencies, data storage and flow, network connectivity and overall cloud hosting.
Develop and maintain up‑to‑date architectural templates and operational documentation of the technical environment.
Continuously enhance the capability, security, and experience of the enterprise Hybrid cloud.
Technical Requirements
Extensive experience in the following tools and technologies:
Typescript
NodeJS
Python
AWS CDK
Terraform
Cloud Formation
CI/CD pipelines
Open Policy Agent / Policy as Code
Container technologies – EKS, Kubernetes, ECS, Docker
Azure Dev Ops pipeline design and architecture
Git Hub Actions
CircleCI
Jenkins
Agile Frameworks
Linux environments
Extensive cloud platform experience and skills:
Certifications in AWS and/or Azure.
Dynomo
DB, ECS, Lambda – Serverless, Step Functions, Cognito, API Gateway, IAM.
Azure services:
Azure Dev Ops, Web App, AKS, ACI, Key Vault, SQL MI.
Interview Process
Interviews will take place in two rounds with a technical screening component.
