Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction
Robertson is seeking a skilled Project Manager - IT III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

6 months with potential to extend or convert

Starting from $62 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining the integrated AI delivery plan from discovery through production

Coordinate milestones, dependencies, and cross-functional commitments across AI, Data, GDO, GFT, and Platform teams

Ensure technical teams stay aligned with the project timeline, scope, and delivery expectations defined by the Project Manager

Monitor and flag delivery risks related to data availability, model readiness, security, compliance, scalability, and integration

Track cross-team dependencies and raise early alerts to the Project Manager when conflicts arise

Recommend mitigation options and ensure clear visibility into risks and decisions

Support the Project Manager(s) by coordinating activities required to meet production-grade standards, including Transition and handover plans, Architecture, security, and compliance checkpoints

Support models, incident response preparation, and post-production ownership alignment

Ensure Project Managers provide clear, concise delivery updates across timelines, risks, and dependencies

Translate complex technical progress into business-friendly summaries for PM-led communications

Serve as a secondary point of contact for delivery-related questions, ensuring consistency with PM-driven messaging

Support AI components move smoothly from prototype to production with minimal rework

Risks and dependencies are surfaced early, enabling timely PM-driven decision-making

Releases meet required standards for security, performance, and reliability

Stakeholders receive clear, accurate updates that align with Project Manager communications

Technical teams remain focused on execution with reduced coordination overhead

Experience & Qualification Requirement

Bachelor’s degree

8+ years supporting the delivery of complex digital, data, or AI initiatives

Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (AI, data, engineering, architecture) in a matrixed environment

Working knowledge of AI/ML delivery life cycles, Agile methodologies and enterprise release processes

Strong strengths in risk awareness and dependency mapping, Issue escalation and structured problem-solving

Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences

Stakeholder Management

Ability to coordinate resources

PMP and Six Sigma

Problem-solving skills
