**** About the Role
**** We are looking for skilled Dev Ops Engineer to provide expertise in deployment automation. This role will help a dynamic development team in automating and improving development and release processes, ensuring that systems are safe and secure, identifying technical problems and managing library upgrades and fixes.
** A successful candidate will assume a leading role in the Dev Ops practice on the team and will become a Dev Ops expert which, ultimately, will lead to having autonomy in designing and instrumenting Dev Ops practices within the team.
**** Key Responsibilities
**** Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manager. Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:*
* * Experience in Kubernetes (K8S), Helm or Kustomize, Docker or Podman, Linux Sys Admin (RHEL), Azure Networking, Azure Application Gateway, TD EDP (XL and GT), TD CADP, Ansible, Git Hub Actions*
* * Develop, maintain, manage, and continually improve automated Git Hub Actions builds and deployments for multiple components and micro-services*
* * Manage code releases of multiple components*
* * Automate security scans (via Veracode CLI) to ensure environment and libraries are secure against security threats / issues, and provide reports for development teams to address in timely manner*
* * Identify build and deploy functional and performance problems and address them proactively*
* * Identify overall Dev Ops improvements, breakdown larger Dev Ops tasks to smaller manageable work units and advise on prioritization of larger improvements within the Dev Ops space of the Web Broker platform*
* * Examine, inspect and write build / deployment scripts and resolve issues (Unix Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git Hub Actions)*
* * Respond to application build, deployment and infrastructure requirements*
* * Create solutions that meet IT standards, procedures, security, and enterprise policies*
* * Service applications and systems, provide application systems, operational availability levels that meet or exceed standards and service levels already established, while minimizing operational risk.
** Job Requirements*
* * Undergraduate degree or technical certificate.*
* * Experience with writing json and yaml configuration files*
* * 3+ years of experience with code building tools, especially Apache Maven and npm*
* * Basic knowledge on JIRA and Confluence (Create Stories, Tasks, Create/Update Documentation, etc)*
* * 3+ years of experience implementing CI/CD workflows with Git Hub Actions.*
* * 5+ years of experience developing Python, Power Shell, and Linux Shell scripts.*
* * Strong knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or Ansible Core.*
* * 3+ years of experience building custom container images (Docker) following best practices.*
* * 5+ years of experience using Git source code repositories, preferably Git Hub.*
* * 3+ years of experience integrating Sonar Qube and Veracode components into CI/CD pipelines.*
* * 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Azure Networking, and Azure Application Gateway.*
* * Familiarity with TD Standard Pipelines (EDP XL and EDP GT).*
* * Experience creating pipelines from scratch, preferably using Git Hub Actions, and troubleshooting cloud configuration issues.*
* * Ability to publish compliance and execution reports (security and code quality).*
* * Understanding of distributed systems concepts.*
* * Knowledge of Spring Boot and Angular frameworks.*
* * Ability to work independently in a senior/lead capacity and mentor others.*
