Job Description R_1459670 Data Scientist III / Delivery Lead
TD's Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence (AI2) team provides consultative support with data & analytics-based business insights and/or solutions to guide decision making and/or strategic planning. AI2 is an exciting team to be a part of as we are transforming how we provide key insights and opportunities for our business partners to better serve our customers.
The Canadian Personal Banking (CPB) AI2 team supports the day-to-day activities of the CPB businesses, working with business partners to address their analytics needs by providing end-to-end support of data, reporting, analytics, insights, and artificial intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities Structure the CPB metric and self-serve delivery to align with BI/AI requests.
Work in a consultative role to provide value-added insights through metric definition analysis, visualizations, and recommendations.
Partner with the stakeholders to understand needs, clarify problem statements, and translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for semantic model and self-serve.
Represent AI2 in business initiatives; support business case development and help optimize operational strategies with analytics and AI insights.
Develop data central solutions, dashboards, and manage the platform performance.
Identify, source, and transform data to support self-serve development. Recommend data and solution designs that enable scalable BI/AI capabilities.
Lead day-2 enhancements discussion to bring efficiencies.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a single point of contact for CPB metrics and self-serve requests.
Managing Power
BI workspace for entire CPB dashboard delivery.
Job Requirements Undergraduate or advanced degree in a quantitative field; graduate degree preferred.
5+ years in project management, analytics, or BI/AI delivery roles.
Technical Skills Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
Proficiency in Data Bricks.
Experience preparing large/complex datasets for self-serve, automation and analytics.
Strong data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau).
Strong Star-schema semantic model development.
Strong Power
BI workspace management.
Project Lead & Consulting Skills Ability to plan, organize, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
Skilled in developing project timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating resources across multiple teams.
Proficient in risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and adapting to shifting priorities to ensure successful project delivery.
Ability to translate business problems into technical/data requirements.
Ability to recommend data solutions and contribute to model testing/monitoring.
Soft Skills Strong communicator able to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proven ability to build strong partnerships and work independently.
