IT Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Location:
Toronto, ON (Hybrid-4 days onsite per week)
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst with strong expertise in Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects and development teams to gather requirements, design solutions and support end‑to‑end Salesforce implementations.
Experience in Insurance and/or Wealth Management domain will be a strong advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork with business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows and functional specifications.
Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams and Salesforce architects.
Drive requirement workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews.
Support FSC implementations including configuration support, data mapping and solution validation.
Create and maintain documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, process diagrams and UAT plans.
Coordinate and support UAT cycles, defect tracking and release readiness.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend Salesforce‑based solutions.
Agile Delivery ResponsibilitiesWrite detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria aligned to business outcomes.
Participate in backlog grooming/story refinement sessions with product owners and technical teams.
Actively contribute to sprint planning by clarifying scope, priorities and dependencies.
Support daily standups by addressing requirement‑related clarifications.
Present sprint demos/reviews to business stakeholders and gather feedback.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure stories are testable and meet business expectations.
Help prioritize backlog items based on business value and urgency.
Track story progress and ensure requirements are delivered as per sprint commitments.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
8 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
Strong understanding of requirement gathering techniques and documentation practices.
Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria and functional flows.
Experience with Person Accounts, Household model and FSC standard objects.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Salesforce certifications:
Admin, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC preferred.
Domain knowledge in Insurance (Policy lifecycle, Claims, Agent/Broker model, Customer onboarding).
Domain knowledge in Wealth Management (Client onboarding, Financial accounts, Advisor workflows).
Work closely with solution architects to ensure FSC capabilities align with business needs.
Support digital transformation initiatives in Financial Services customers.
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
Help define current vs future state process models.
Mandatory SkillsSalesforce Financial Services Cloud.
