Technical Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Technical Program Manager – Software Delivery to drive execution excellence across multiple product and technical initiatives. This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on moving teams from planning and analysis into disciplined, measurable delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in SaaS/cloud environments and brings clarity, structure, and momentum to complex software portfolios.

• Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple, concurrent product and engineering programmes
• Drive roadmap execution — transforming strategy into actionable and trackable delivery outcomes
• Perform deep portfolio and capability reviews; identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, UX, QA, and Dev Ops
• Remove execution blockers and enable teams to maintain velocity
• Implement delivery rhythms, milestones, and status reporting
• Track risks, dependencies, and outcomes; communicate progress clearly to leadership
• Advocate for improvements to delivery processes, tooling, and development practices

• Roadmap items consistently delivered to quality, on time and in scope
• Cross-team collaboration is improved and predictable
• Delivery bottlenecks are identified and resolved quickly
• Stakeholders are aligned with transparent, timely information
• Teams are enabled to move from planning to execution with confidence

• 8+ years of experience in software delivery or technical programme leadership
• Track record of managing large, complex, SaaS/cloud software deliveries
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and delivery practices (CI/CD, Agile)
• Experience assessing team capability and delivery maturity
• Demonstrated ability to influence across teams without direct authority
• Excellent communicator with both technical and business stakeholders
