This is a technical, hands‑on position with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance.

What

you’ll get to do
  • Design, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable event‑driven architectures leveraging Kafka and related technologies.
  • Lead the automation and optimization of infrastructure and application workflows across cloud platforms.
  • Ensure operational stability and performance of event infrastructure including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, and platform teams to define best practices around event messaging and cloud automation.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD pipelines to support event services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, middleware, and application issues in production and non‑production environments.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and documentation regarding event infrastructure strategy.
Skills and experience we value
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, Dev Ops, or systems architecture roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS.
  • Solid understanding of event streaming, messaging patterns, and real‑time data pipelines.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Terraform and Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git Hub Actions or Azure Dev Ops.
  • Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills with a focus on reliability and observability.
What would make you really stand out
  • Experience with schema management (e.g., Confluent Schema Registry).
  • Knowledge of microservices and service mesh architectures.
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies or Kafka are a plus.
