Project Analyst/PCO
Our client, a Major Big 5 Bank here in Canada, is currently looking to hire for a Project Coordinator/Analyst to join their team in downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of project coordination experience working in a banking environment.
Project Analyst – Capital Markets (Accessibility Compliance)
TEKsystems Banking client is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Project Analyst to support accessibility compliance initiatives within the Capital Markets technology environment. This role focuses on tracking, coordinating, and validating digital accessibility requirements in alignment with WCAG and internal accessibility standards. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams, the AODA scanning team, and project stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables, clear communication, and high‑quality remediation support.
Required Qualifications- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project analysis, or business analysis (financial services experience is an asset).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and follow‑up skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools.
- Exposure to assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, or Voice Over.
- Experience working with WCAG and accessibility‑related regulations.
Accessibility Compliance & Coordination
- Facilitate conversations between Developers and the AODA Scanning Team to clarify WCAG requirements and support remediation efforts. (Updated per manager feedback)
- Maintain detailed documentation of accessibility issues, risks, decisions, and remediation progress.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as an accessibility liaison between technology teams, design/UX, QA, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Follow up with developers, testers, and product owners to ensure required documentation, updates, and remediation tasks are completed.
- Support project managers with maintaining plans, schedules, trackers, and accessibility workflows.
- Escalate blockers, risks, or delays related to accessibility activities.
Communication & Documentation
- Prepare clear, concise communication including status updates, action logs, and cross‑team summaries related to accessibility compliance.
Task & Workflow Management
- Manage multiple concurrent accessibility work streams with strong attention to detail.
- Coordinate remediation timelines, checkpoints, and cross-team collaboration touchpoints.
- Ensure all accessibility‑related deliverables meet required timelines and quality standards.
Work Environment
Hybrid work model (specific in‑office expectations may vary over time).
Duration: 6 month contract to start with an opportunity of extension OR conversion to permanent.
Pay: $30 - $45/hr commensurate of experience.
