About Nesto And Nesto Cloud

nesto is Canada’s leading provider of mortgage technology and financing solutions, managing $73B+ CAD in residential and commercial mortgages, with 1,000+ team members across 12 offices nationwide. You will be working on Nesto Cloud, Canada’s most advanced cloud platform, delivering end-to-end technology solutions for lenders in the digital age.

About The Team

Core AI is building a secure, multi-tenant platform that helps nesto teams ship AI-powered, SaaS-grade decisioning and workflows. We need a lightweight but powerful internal interface for teams to configure, observe, and operate workflows safely. You’ll build the UI that makes the platform usable: configuration views, trace/debug tools, audit trails, and operational insights, with access controls baked in.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Build our internal portal experiences (Type Script/React) for:
    • viewing and managing configuration (flows/graphs, rulesets, prompts)
    • viewing decision/workflow traces
    • audit trails and version history
    • experimentation controls and results views
  • Implement UI patterns that support platform governance:
    • approvals, promotion (dev → staging → prod), rollback flows
    • RBAC-aware screens and permission-sensitive actions
    • safe confirmation patterns for high-impact actions (publish, rollback, permission changes)
  • Create polished, consistent components and workflows:
    • forms, diff views, tables, timelines, and trace viewers
    • clear empty/loading/error states for operational scenarios
  • Make sensitive-data UX safe by default:
    • redaction/minimization patterns, masked fields, access-gated detail views
    • clear affordances when access is restricted by permissions
  • Build for operational excellence:
    • performance optimization for large traces/tables
    • basic front-end telemetry to measure reliability and usage
  • Add automated tests and collaborate on quality and performance (unit/integration/e2e where appropriate).
  • Partner closely with backend and ML to ensure the UI stays aligned with platform APIs and supports real operational workflows.
  • Work in an Agile delivery cadence, contributing to planning, estimation, and iterative release.
Who We Are Looking For
  • 6–8+ years of frontend experience shipping production UI.
  • Strong Type Script + React experience (Next.js a plus).
  • Strong UI systems thinking: component architecture, state management, data fetching patterns.
  • Strong experience integrating with and designing against APIs (REST/JSON; familiarity with auth patterns is a plus).
  • Experience building complex internal tools (admin portals, observability UIs, workflow/config editors).
  • Comfort working with RBAC, auditing requirements, and sensitive-data UX constraints.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile teams (iterative delivery, cross-functional collaboration).
Nice to Have
  • Experience visualizing workflow graphs, timelines, and traces.
  • Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with observability tooling UX (logs/metrics/traces views).
  • Experience building…
