Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Information Management Specialist to support the Public Sector environment. This role plays a central part in enabling a data‑driven organization by implementing data standards, governance practices, metadata frameworks, and policy instruments. The consultant will provide strategic and hands‑on expertise across metadata management, data quality, data classification, information architecture, and enterprise data while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

• Provide advisory support in data lifecycle management including privacy, retention, quality, interoperability, and security.
• Conduct assessments, develop business cases, and recommend improvements to data management maturity.
• Develop metadata schemas, data classification schemes, document management protocols, and controlled vocabularies.

• Business cases, analyses, and assessments of information/data management needs.
• Data classification models, metadata standards, controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, and canonical models.
• Policy instruments including standards, guidelines, and procedures supporting data and data products.
• Training materials, awareness curricula, and communication plans for IM/DM education.

• 5+ years of Information/Data Management experience, focused on enterprise data governance and data management practices.
• Strong experience conducting business analysis related to data capture, transformation, quality, and usage requirements.
• Experience developing Information/Data Management business cases and strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate IM/DM initiatives, providing guidance and advisory support.
• Experience creating document/records management protocols (naming conventions, versioning, metadata, labeling).

• Familiarity with metadata repositories, lineage tools, and enterprise data cataloguing platforms.
• Experience supporting structured and unstructured data management, including SharePoint and cloud repositories.
