We are looking for an analytical storyteller who can translate campaign data into actionable insights, elevate strategic thinking, and become a trusted partner to our senior‑level clients. The position requires a strong analytical toolkit, command of multiple marketing channels, and the ability to communicate technical insights to diverse audiences.
Key expectations:
- Must be able to work in Pacific Standard Time.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, improve marketing strategy & revenue, and provide insights that help stakeholders make decisions.
- Develop a strategic understanding of the client and offering/product and synthesize information quickly, accurately, and strategically.
- Communicate insights to clients and cross‑functional teams through data‑driven storytelling in presentations and documents.
- Maintain data products and create visualizations, dashboards, reports, spreadsheets, and automated tools.
- Proactively identify data issues and collaborate with stakeholders to find effective solutions.
- Lead program‑level analytics engagements and work directly with clients to create a positive experience that meets their business needs.
- Assist in process improvements within the data team to improve efficiency.
- Be a strategic partner to clients and their cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Provide oversight & guidance to junior analysts and translate client requirements into tactical work plans.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present results of complex analysis compellingly to both technical and non‑technical audiences at executive level.
- Ability to build strong relationships & rapport with clients.
- Strategic thinking, effective execution, and delivery of high‑quality work against tight deadlines.
- Self‑starter with strong time and project management skills and high attention to detail; startup attitude and a passion for building new products and businesses.
- 6+ years of quantitative work experience in marketing analytics, quantitative finance, risk modeling, or similar.
- Solid technical skills using SQL, advanced Excel, Data Studio, or Tableau; familiarity with JavaScript, R, Python is a plus.
- Experience in experimental design, causal inference, and regression and classification models.
- Ability to learn IT systems quickly to extract and prepare required datasets for analytics.
- Proven success driving data‑driven recommendations and action.
- Strong critical thinking and business acumen, able to use data to drive actionable insights.
Salary Range: $130,000—$140,000 CAD
