Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure the API backlog is prioritized, refined and aligned with business outcomes.
  • Coach the team on Agile best practices, helping improve velocity, quality and predictability.
  • Identify and remove impediments impacting API development or platform delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement and team cohesion across engineering, QA, architecture and Dev Ops.
  • Own the end-to-end release process for API services and platform modules.
  • Define and maintain release plans, calendars, and cutover activities.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies, ensuring API versions, integrations and platform components are ready for release.
  • Conduct release readiness checks, verify testing completion, assess risks, and approve deployment scope.
  • Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to ensure releases follow CI/CD standards and security compliance.
  • Track release issues, manage hotfix timelines, and ensure post-release validation.
Qualifications
  • 8 plus years of experience in a blended Scrum Master Release Management or Delivery Lead role.
  • Strong understanding of API development, REST frameworks, microservices, and integration patterns.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tools (e.g. Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions).
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops Boards.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and risk management capabilities.
