Summary

We are looking for a Fraud & Control Detection Specialist to support case development, analyze fraud risks, and collaborate with BUs to identify risks and emerging patterns. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, data‑curious, and eager to learn how fraud happens inside large organizations. You will strengthen Bell’s fraud control framework by aligning policies and processes across BUs, improving control effectiveness, and reducing financial risk without impacting customer experience.

You will work closely with various Business Units to quantify losses, validate control ROI, and ensure all fraud‑related processes meet audit and governance expectations.

As part of Bell’s Anti‑Fraud team, you will join the frontline force safeguarding our customers and our brand. We combine advanced analytics, AI‑driven detection, and real‑time controls to stop fraud before it impacts the business, all while preserving a seamless customer experience. You’ll collaborate across the enterprise to build scalable controls, strengthen real‑time visibility, and stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics.

Our team drives innovation across Bell by developing smarter, intelligence‑driven solutions, advancing enterprise‑wide security practices, and continuously evolving our capabilities to anticipate and counter emerging threats. By joining us, you’ll help shape the future of fraud prevention and enable secure, frictionless experiences for our customers and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance fraud detection by developing, tuning, and testing AI and automation based use cases that strengthen controls and increase visibility.
  • Build clear, well structured investigative files by collecting multisource evidence, analyzing data, and documenting findings in line with audit and governance requirements.
  • Identify high-risk behaviours through trend analysis, anomaly detection, redflag monitoring, and pattern recognition across systems and channels.
  • Work with Investigators to validate facts, refine case narratives, and support recommendations on disciplinary actions, control improvements, or policy enforcement.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to identify control gaps, uncover process vulnerabilities, and elevate emerging risks.
  • Analyze system activity and logs to detect behavioural deviations, policy breaches, or indicators of misconduct.
  • Maintain accurate, audit ready documentation of investigative steps, analysis methods, and conclusions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying weaknesses, recommending mitigation strategies, and contributing insights on fraud trends and risks.
Critical Qualifications
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret structured and unstructured data, recognize behavioural patterns, and detect anomalies.
  • Excellent documentation skills, including concise case summaries, evidence writeups, and investigative notes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and O365, with capability in data manipulation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in investigations, case management, audit, compliance, or fraud analysis.
  • Comfort working with incomplete data and ambiguity.
  • Understanding of internal controls, governance, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection systems, case management tools, or analytics platforms.
  • Ability to communicate analytical insights clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
