What is the opportunity?
The Agile Coach serves as a transformative leader and catalyst for change, collaborating with decision-makers, teams, and stakeholders across Global Security. This role focuses on enhancing value delivery, proactively addressing risks and obstacles, and cultivating an environment of transparency and continuous improvement. By embodying and advocating for Agile principles, the Agile Coach leverages strong communication and facilitation skills to thoughtfully challenge assumptions and decisions, even those from senior leadership, to drive meaningful progress
What will you do?
- Coach teams with sprint planning and Agile implementation, as well as provide ongoing Agile coaching support
- Guide teams in adopting and advancing Agile and Lean principles through the application of best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Lead and support core Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and provide constructive feedback on Agile processes, procedures, and tools to enhance adoption, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. Recommend improvements to ensure seamless integration and scalability of Agile practices
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement effective solutions, ensuring sustained performance and alignment with Agile goals
- Train and guide teams on effective Jira usage, including board customization, issue prioritization, and reporting, to enhance transparency and collaboration
- Design and implement Kanban boards in alignment with team workflows, ensuring visual clarity for work in progress, limits, cycle time tracking, and bottleneck identification. Coach teams on optimizing flow efficiency and continuous delivery
- Bridge Confluence and Kanban tools to link documentation, decisions, and actionable tasks, enabling seamless traceability from planning to execution. Guide teams on best practices and optimization techniques
What do you need to succeed?
- 5 + years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, consistently applying Scrum and Kanban principles, practices, and methodologies to drive team success and process excellence
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Confluence, Jira, and Kanban, including proven expertise in training and guiding teams to optimize these tools for Agile workflows. Must demonstrate deep proficiency on best practices
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a transferable field (Information Systems, Engineering, or Strategic Management)
- Proven expertise with Agile coaching, effectively establishing continuous delivery channels, and empowering Agile transformations across enterprise-scale initiatives. Demonstrated ability to elevate Agile methodologies at the organizational level, driving efficiency and cultural adoption
- Strong capability to guide teams on effectively managing and prioritizing backlogs to ensure alignment with business goals
- Experience training teams on creating, editing, and organizing pages for sprint planning, retrospectives, and knowledge sharing in Confluence
- Excellent technical and business acumen, must be comfortable presenting to a broad range of stakeholders
Nice to have:
- Certified Scrum Master / Agile Practitioner
- Change Management certification
- Previous banking experience
- PMP
