Operations Support Group (Network Operations) is a 7/24 Service Availability (Dual Site Coverage) department responsible for providing frontline support of the Bank's mission-critical network environment
. The primary focus of the team is reacting to anomalies presented through various monitoring tools. This is a Tier 1 / 1.5 Network Operations support role within a fast-paced production environment. The team supports LAN, MAN, WAN, RLAN, Wireless, Firewall, Load Balancer, and Optical solutions, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
Operations Support Group (Network Operations) provides 24/7 dual-site coverage and frontline monitoring and support for critical network infrastructure. The team operates in a high-availability environment and requires strong attention to detail and rapid incident response capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day deliverables during shift under direction of the NOC Shift Leader
- Ensure smooth takeover and handover between shifts with strong documentation
- Provide strong technical support while following NOC processes and procedures
- Proper use of automation and remediation procedures
- Maintain high-quality ticket updates and vendor communications
- Manage incident queue and prioritize based on critical devices and shared services
- Engage L2/L3 teams and third-party vendors as needed
- Participate in high-priority (P2) incident calls
- Support incident, change, and problem management processes
- Escalate significant issues promptly to Shift Leader/Manager
- Manage chronic, repeat, and aging incidents with proper escalation
- Create MoPs and how-to documentation; peer review documentation
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort
- Report process gaps, vendor challenges, and operational issues
- Help develop team members and provide feedback and recognition
- 3–5 years of experience in Network Operations / Production environment
- CCNP certified with minimum 3 years of troubleshooting experience OR CCNA certified with minimum 5 years of troubleshooting experience
- Strong troubleshooting / break-fix experience
- Cisco routing and switching experience
- Experience in Network Analyst or Network Operations role
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and telecommunications concepts
- Cisco Viptela SDWAN / Aruba SDWAN
- Cisco ACI
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- F5 Load Balancers
- VMware NSX
- CCDP and ITIL certifications
- Cisco Routing & Switching

- CCNP (R&S) with minimum 3 years experience OR CCNA with minimum 5 years experience
- CCDP and ITIL certifications are assets
