The Manager of Ad Ops is a hands-on leader deeply involved in the day-to-day execution of trafficking digital campaigns and the onboarding of new clients. A highly collaborative role, you will work closely with Media Technology, Analytics, and Client Service teams to ensure seamless campaign execution. You will manage the daily workflow, serve as the primary escalation point for our media agencies, and mentor a team of specialists and coordinators to ensure operational excellence.

Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $70,000-$85,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for a new vacancy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily ticket queue, triaging incoming requests and strategically assigning tasks based on team bandwidth and skill level.
  • Act as a key liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Media, Analytics, and Account Management to ensure campaign objectives are met and data flows accurately between systems.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client issues, expertly managing expectations and resolving conflicts.
  • Monitor and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring the team maintains a high standard of timely delivery.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients by gathering necessary documentation, configuring permissions, and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Develop and mentor junior team members by documenting best practices, creating "How-To" guides, and conducting training sessions on ad server technology and capabilities.
  • Make critical prioritization decisions, deciding which tasks to escalate or delegate when campaign volume is high.
Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) including, and a deep understanding of the connections between GMP products.
  • Strong de-escalation skills with the ability to manage expectations and tight deadlines from internal and external partners.
  • Experience with workflow management tools, including advanced Airtable usage for creating dashboards to track team volume and performance.
  • Proven ability to orchestrate team workflow, balancing responsibilities to create opportunities that mentor and develop the skills of junior team members.
  • Familiarity with additional ad serving technologies and platforms such as Flash talking or Adform.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a strong asset.
  • Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) is an asset.
  • Google Marketing Platform Academy Certifications are highly preferred.
