IMCO is looking for a Cybersecurity Cloud Architect with a passion for cybersecurity and cloud technologies to join our forward-thinking Cyber team! At IMCO, we embrace a Cloud-First approach and Cybersecurity Excellence in our technology solutions, prioritizing agile, optimized productivity, and enhanced performance to accelerate our market presence. The Cyber Security Cloud Architect will be pivotal in unifying our IT landscape by developing and maintaining a high-level design plan that integrates cybersecurity best practices with our overall logical and technical IT architecture.
This role demands advanced technical leadership and consulting expertise across the organization, influencing strategic decision-making, project planning, and execution to align system architecture with IT strategy and cybersecurity imperatives. The Cyber Security Cloud Architect will champion the integration of cyber cloud controls, Dev Sec Ops methodologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Policy as Code (PaC) practices, ensuring robust security postures within our cloud environments.
Deep expertise in the Microsoft Security Stack is essential to designing secure and resilient architectures that support our digital transformation and cloud adoption goals.

* ** Member of Our Team You Will be Responsible For:
***** Strategy & Planning
**** Maintain an in-depth knowledge of IMCO’s strategic business plans, focusing on cybersecurity implications.
* Provide architectural consulting expertise, emphasizing secure cloud solutions and Dev Sec Ops practices.
* Evaluate and enhance IMCO’s existing IT architecture with a cybersecurity lens, ensuring the integration of Microsoft Security Stack components.
* Develop and document cybersecurity-focused IT architecture options, including cost/benefit analyses and risk assessments.
* Advocate for cybersecurity considerations within the enterprise architecture to support business strategy.
* Develop, document, and enforce cybersecurity standards policies, conducting research on emerging threats and secure technologies.
* Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems with embedded security controls.
* Ensure alignment between IT architecture domains, focusing on secure and compliant solutions.
*** Operational Management
**** Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, emphasizing cybersecurity in systems development.
* Review IT projects and designs for compliance with cybersecurity standards and architectural plans.
* Collaborate closely with the MSSP to validate adherence to IMCO’s cybersecurity standards, drive continuous improvement in detection and response capabilities, and ensure timely escalation and resolution of security events.
* Mentor and provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices to junior team members.

*** University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, with a focus on cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience.
* 10+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years as an Enterprise Architect specializing in cybersecurity.
