The Digital Content Specialist develops and executes content that increases engagement, brand awareness and conversion across digital channels. You will blend strong storytelling with search and discovery optimization, ensuring content performs across traditional search, AI‑driven discovery environments and conversational platforms.
You will play a key part in adapting content to how people and intelligent systems discover, consume and trust information online. It includes creating clear, answer‑led, user‑centric content that supports visibility, accuracy and representation across search engines, generative platforms and LLM‑based discovery ecosystems.
Contract Term: 12 months.
Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $57,000-$80,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do- Content Strategy
- Help develop and execute content strategies that resonate with target audiences and improve visibility across search engines and AI‑driven discovery systems to support lead generation and our goals.
- Contribute to content approaches that reflect how audiences search for, engage with and validate information today.
- Create, publish and maintain blog and landing page content within the CMS, ensuring accuracy, usability, best practices and brand consistency.
- Build and manage content using component‑based layouts and structured content fields.
- Apply search and discovery optimization practices, including keyword and topic research, on‑page enhancements, metadata, internal linking and content updates.
- Write content that answers real customer questions clearly and directly, supporting discoverability across traditional search, AI‑powered search experiences and emerging platforms.
- Work with cross‑functional partners in search and discovery, UX, product, marketing, analytics and development to align content with broader marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and agency partners to implement recommendations and improve content performance.
- Track, analyze and report on content performance, competitive share and presence across search engines, LLMs and emerging discovery platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Bright Edge, and Semrush.
- Conduct ongoing research across LLMs, conversational platforms and AI‑driven discovery systems to understand how Moneris content appears, is interpreted and surfaced.
- Identify opportunities to improve Moneris' representation across commonly used AI platforms and recommend actions that strengthen accuracy, trust and visibility.
- Share insights with cross‑functional teams, highlighting connections between content execution, portfolio KPIs and areas where tactics are driving measurable impact.
- Translate analytics insights into recommendations that inform future content and search strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 2–3 years of experience in digital content creation or copywriting.
- A portfolio demonstrating blog or long‑form content published in a CMS and informed by modern search and discovery practices.
- Strong writing, editing and copy‑editing skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with component‑based page authoring, structured content models and content QA in CMS environments.
- Understanding of search and discovery principles, keyword research and optimization techniques.
