We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a specialist role focused on Mainframe network maintenance and Mainframe hardware/software support. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of critical infrastructure systems.

• Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Mainframe Networking
• Experience with TCP/IP, VTAM, NNM, NDM, AT-TLS, VPSPRINT, Deliver, and TN3270
• Proven ability to manage incidents and problem resolution effectively
• Experience in providing on-call/standby support as needed
• Demonstrated knowledge and operational support experience with Mainframe Network in a large scale environment similar as the Government of Ontario.

• Experience with building new infrastructure using automation
• Background in integrating services like identity, logging, and monitoring
• Experience in leading projects and initiatives, both technical and non-technical

• Plan, configure, and support the installation of new Mainframe hardware platforms
• Provide migration and decommissioning support for Mainframe network components and applications
• Manage daily operational changes and ensure timely closure of support tickets
• Adhere to Service Level Agreements and maintain device upkeep
• Engage in Mainframe Software/Hardware Refresh Projects and KTLO activities
