Enterprise Architect
Location:
Toronto ,Ontario
Duration: 6 Months
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the technology strategy and ensuring alignment across our enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in advancing our application architecture to support our business and IT strategies.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in IT Service Management Consulting and Enterprise Architecture
- Proficiency in enterprise capability and IT service management
- Experience with architectural documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Distributed MQ, and Amazon Kinesis
- Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud platform
- Experience in data platforms and analytics, particularly with Snowflake
- Expertise in standardized application deployment on AWS
- Knowledge of secure application design and trusted computing environments
- Ability to define and implement architecture patterns and standards
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in tools like Client Visio
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with other cloud environments such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with architectural platforms/tools like Hopex, LeanIX, Service Now, Archi Mate
- Experience with TOGAF or similar architectural frameworks
- Experience or familiarity with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain
- Create, communicate, and facilitate alignment to enterprise-wide application architecture, technology strategy, and standards
- Develop roadmaps and blueprints to ensure architecture goals are met in both tactical and strategic frames
- Collaborate with partners to collect and assess requirements and provide optimal solutions
- Create a wide range of architectural artifacts, including logical and reference architectures, sequence diagrams, and system flow diagrams
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into strategic solutions aligned with business goals
