Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical Oracle databases. The role also requires expertise as an AWS-focused DBA to manage and optimize Amazon RDS (Oracle/Postgre
SQL/MSSQL) and Amazon Redshift clusters, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on administration of Oracle 19c, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and OEMExpert-level SQL and instance performance tuning; AWR/ASH analysis; wait events diagnosisProvision, configure, and manage Amazon RDS instances/clusters (instance classes, storage autoscaling, multi-AZ, parameter/subnet groups)Govern backup/restore strategies, including automated backups, snapshots, encryption (KMS), patching, and version upgradesImplement monitoring and alerting using Cloud Watch, Performance Insights, and Enhanced Monitoring; tune connections and queriesCost management: right-sizing resources, storage optimization, and advisory on Reserved/Compute Savings PlansDesign, deploy, and operate Amazon Redshift clusters; configure WLM, concurrency scaling, and queue managementOptimize schema design (distribution/sort keys), run VACUUM/ANALYZE, tune queries, and isolate workloadsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Code Pipeline/Git Hub Actions) for deploying CDK apps; manage multiple environments (dev/qa/uat/prod)Ensure high availability:

4–7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, including 3+ years managing AWS data servicesHands-on experience with Amazon RDS (Oracle/Postgre
SQL/MSSQL) and Amazon Redshift administrationExpertise in monitoring (Cloud Watch, Performance Insights), performance tuning, and cost optimizationAt least one Oracle certification (OCP) and one AWS certificationProficiency with AWS CDK (TypeScript or Python), Cloud Formation, and CI/CD pipelines
