Test Lead

The Test Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality of a modernized Case Management System. This involves validating new .NET Core functionality, ensuring functional equivalency to a legacy Classic ASP/VBScript application, and working closely with developers in a Dev Ops-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET Core application components.
- Validate migrated features against behavior observed in the existing Classic ASP/VBScript application.
- Analyze legacy screens, workflows, and code logic to determine expected outcomes.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Document defects clearly and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Support Dev Ops-driven testing and release cycles.
- Provide weekly reporting on status, progress, and key issues/concerns.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- 5+ years of experience in software QA/testing.
- Strong experience testing web applications (preferably .NET Core).
- Ability to interpret and understand Classic ASP/VBScript logic to determine expected system behavior.
- Experience testing undocumented or partially documented legacy systems.

- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, HP ALM).
- Understanding of front-end technologies.
- Experience working with Dev Ops pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Expertise in writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts for web applications, covering functional, regression, integration and UAT testing.
