Project Manager II

Location: Toronto, ON-Remote (Canada)
Duration: Contract (9 months
Schedule: Standard business hours

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II with strong Dayforce expertise to lead large, complex projects for established clients. This role requires a consultative approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large, complex Dayforce-related projects

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets

  • Gather and define clear project requirements and scope

  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of defined solutions

  • Evaluate scope changes and assess impact on cost, timeline, and effort

  • Follow PMI-based project management methodologies

  • Maintain project documentation (project plans, risk logs, issue logs, status reports, meeting agendas, time tracking)

  • Track project hours and costs; report budget status and risks

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

  • Provide consultative guidance based on Dayforce best practices

  • Maintain accurate updates in project tracking and billing systems

Required Skills
  • Must have Dayforce experience

  • 10+ years of project management experience leading large, complex projects

  • Strong leadership, business judgment, and execution skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience facilitating meetings, conference calls, and problem-solving sessions

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships

  • Experience building project management processes and tools

  • Ability to define and improve business processes

  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including MS Project

Preferred Skills
  • PMI certification preferred

  • Knowledge of PMI methodology

Tools/Environment
  • Dayforce

  • MS Office (including MS Project)

  • Project tracking and time tracking systems
