The Client is a technology company focused on modernizing processes in the organ donation, allocation, and transplant ecosystem. Their advanced, modular, cloud‑native platform aims to empower all stakeholders to improve efficiency, transparency, and equity in the system.

Role Overview

The Solution Implementation and Release Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction by managing and coordinating technical implementation and release activities. This role serves as the primary bridge between internal technical teams and customers, ensuring that execution aligns with customer expectations. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Solution Implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project and release schedules, aligning technical teams with requirements, development, and QA activities.
  • Act as a liaison among technical teams, customer business analysts, subject matter experts, and technical staff to clarify requirements and define deliverables.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define solutions and translate them into agile iteration backlogs, then manage resulting technical deliverables.
  • Lead, coordinate, and execute all software release activities overseeing deployments in QA, Staging, and Production environments.
  • Maintain critical release documentation, including background info, procedures, and dependency lists; provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in implementation and release management processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Guide QA teams on best testing practices, including automation frameworks, to ensure quality software delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks relating to project timelines and critical activities to ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Participate in sprint planning, change management, release planning, and go‑live readiness activities.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience in system implementation, project management, and release methodologies.
  • In‑depth understanding of web architecture, cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud), and Dev Ops concepts.
  • Experience working in healthcare or health technology sectors preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to review business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
  • Skilled in leading technical discussions and accurate effort estimation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage expectations with customer leadership.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, driven, and customer‑focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification or equivalent.
  • Background in software development.
  • Experience with FHIR and HL7 integration standards.
