Senior Business Analyst​/Solution Designer – Information Technology

Overview

We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Solution Designer – Information Technology for our client.

About the project: Systematix is working with an enterprise client executing complex technology initiatives, including ERP expansion, WMS enhancements, CRM implementation, and downstream system integrations. This role supports operationally critical systems and exists to bridge business requirements, solution design, and delivery execution within a PMO-led environment.

In this role, you will translate business needs into clear, well-structured business and technical requirements and solution designs that support successful delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, project managers, and vendors to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and solutions align with operational realities.

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise IT environments
• Strong IT background with the ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for developers
• Experience working closely with development teams to explain requirements, clarify design decisions, and support delivery
• Strong experience working with ERP, WMS, CRM, or related enterprise platforms
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum or Kanban)
• Willingness to work on-site the majority of the time

Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience supporting solutions in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or retail environments
• Experience contributing to solution design, integrations, or low-code configurations
• Experience working in PMO-led delivery environments

Location: Hybrid – Greater Toronto Area (approximately 80% on-site)

Duration: 6-month contract with anticipated extension; potential conversion to full-time based on performance

Start date: As soon as possible (flexible to secure the right consultant)

Work hours: 37.5 hours per week

The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:

• Junior: 0–5 years of experience 80 /hr
• Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience 100
• Senior: 10+ years of experience 125 /hr

Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
