Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Architect to oversee, guide, and design end‑to‑end enterprise application architectures for a public‑sector client. The role focuses on architectural governance, hands‑on solution design, alignment of development activities with strategic goals, technology selection, prototyping, and guiding technical teams. The Specialist will also support innovation initiatives, conduct architecture reviews, and drive adoption of best practices across multi‑platform environments.

The Consultant will be accountable for providing architectural leadership across complex I&IT initiatives, including:

• Overseeing, reviewing, and providing technical guidance on solution designs to meet Client IT standards.
• Analyzing the technology environment, business requirements, and enterprise constraints; establishing collaboration frameworks and producing governance documentation.
• Creating prototypes, participating in technology selection, and integrating security requirements into solution architectures.

• Architecture Design Documents (current, future, transition states)
• Security‑compliant design artifacts and governance materials
• Solution prototypes, technical assessments, and technology selection recommendations
• Project management support artifacts (plans, logs, checkpoints).

Must Have:

• 7–10 years experience as an Applications Architect supporting large‑scale business and I&IT transformation projects (1000+ users).
• Extensive experience with Cúram and associated case‑management platforms.
• Strong understanding of functional and non‑functional requirements and architecture model development.
• Hands‑on experience with Java, ESB, Java/JEE, and web/application servers.
• Expertise enhancing, configuring, customizing, and integrating case‑management systems with external applications.
• Experience supporting requirements elicitation, fit‑gap analysis, design, and development for large Cúram or COTS implementations.
• Ability to advise on infrastructure, data conversion, reporting, and interfaces.

• Understanding of identity and access management (IAM), OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and enterprise SSO patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile architecture, including collaboration within cross‑functional Scrum or SAFe environments.
