Key Responsibilities:

Provide scripting skills in SQL, VBScript, Python and Power Shell.

Provide technical expertise in the resolution of problems which may be very diverse and broad in scope; and to provide technical leadership and co-ordination for related mid-sized projects or parts of large and complex projects.

Complex database management, patching/updating, and monitoring.

Oracle RAC installation/configuration/administration on Exadata or Solaris/Linux.

Oracle 19c multitenant environment, exadata on premise and Cloud.

Oracle upgrade from 12c to 19c.

Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 13.4) report creation / customization. Knowledge of DB2 and SQL servers.

Lead project teams in identifying and evaluating information technology options for clients, developing infrastructure or system modifications, evaluating and recommending acquisition of midrange hardware, software, services or production consumables.

Analyzing and defining clients business and information technology requirements; design, development, testing and implementation of business or systems solutions, operational procedures, processes, and databases.

Preparing technical documentation and technical support; make persuasive technical recommendations;
Identify and diagnose serious incidents/problems, which may be very diverse and broad scope.

Provide viable options and solutions.

Train and explain technical concepts to others.

Project management, and situational operational and service management skills, including costing and cost control, problem-solving techniques, to provide leadership, advice and cost-effective solutions which deal with complex infrastructure problems efficiently and effectively. Customer service techniques, to provide data, reports, problem resolution, advice, education and information.

Written and oral communications, to write, explain and present complex technical reports and recommendations for staff and/or decision-makers who may not have in depth technical expertise.

Establish effective working relationships and provide instruction for less experienced team members.

Negotiate with and instruct vendors.

Provide training; and draft procedures.

Prioritizing and time and quality management to ensure outputs meet SLA and operational needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaborating in work and contribute to an agile team environment.

Advance knowledge of Change, Incident and problem management tools and practices using change management system based on BMC Remedy called eSMT.

1. Oracle DBA

Parameters: 10+ years of demonstrated experience supporting/managing Oracle DB, including but not limited to architecture, installation, upgrade and patching of Oracle DB 12c, 19c, 21c+, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Analytics Server.

2. Scripting Knowledge

Parameters: 10+ years experience using SQL, VBSCript, Power Shell, and Python.

Parameters: 10+ years experience troubleshooting coding and identifying/correcting database design flaws.

Parameters:
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix.

5. Communication and Collaboration

Parameters: 10+ years demonstrated experience in effectively organizing, communicating and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to understand business rules, data and develop automation reports, demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Microsoft O365 Tools and documentation repositories.

Parameters:
Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure performance and fault monitoring tools, including Oracle Enterprise Manager and Remedy.

Must Have:

10+ years of demonstrated experience supporting/managing Oracle DB, including but not limited to architecture, installation, upgrade and patching of Oracle DB 12c, 19c, 21c+, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Analytics Server.

10+ years experience using SQL, VBSCript, Power Shell, and Python.

10+ years demonstrated experience in effectively organizing, communicating and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to understand business rules, data and develop automation reports, demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Microsoft O365 Tools and documentation repositories along with experience in Networker/Net backup scripting.
