Schedule:
9am-5pm, Monday–Friday (37.5 hrs/week; possible OT).
Project context:
Global Technology Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) – GTS Service Support. PAM transformation project. Onboarding to Service Now and integrating Service Now Workflow for backend integration. The role contributes to the Quality Assurance / Service Management Technology (SMT) team within Global Engineering, Operations & Functions, ensuring that individual goals, plans, and initiatives support the team’s business strategies and objectives. All activities must comply with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

- Design QA/Testing (QAT) test plans; create test documentation (functions, test cases, scripts); balance risk mitigation with efficient use of testing resources while adhering to QAT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Schedule and approve release of projects into the QAT environment; execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and defect management tracking.
- Manage the UAT phase by executing complex test plans and overseeing UAT testing; coordinate resources, people and environments daily to meet project requirements; manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting needs; coordinate code delivery with external service providers.
- Assess QAT projects to determine risk of releasing code into the current test environment, including potential impact on multiple projects and overlapping applications/components within tight time frames.
- Continuously evaluate priorities amid frequent directional changes and take decisive action as required.
- Assess QAT results and take action; work with development to resolve defects; escalate issues as needed; make recommendations to release code to Production.
- Obtain test evidence and UAT sign-off; proceed with release readiness and Change submission.
- Maintain regression test suites and automation testing suites; provide testing plans for assigned projects/releases, including regression and automation as applicable.
- 3+ years of hands-on technical experience as a QA Analyst performing manual and automation testing.
- 3+ years of experience writing clear, concise test plans, test cases, and automated testing frameworks (ATF).
- 2+ years of recent experience with Service Now (end user).
- 2+ years of recent experience with integration testing (crucial for this role).
- 2+ years of experience working in Service Desk/Service Catalog requests.
- Experience working in both Agile and traditional Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Experience in ITAM modules (CMDB, HAM, SAM).
- Experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release) Management.
- Experience with Knowledge Management, Cloud Discovery and Optimization, and Vulnerability management.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
- Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Sciences, or equivalent is desirable. Certified System Administration (CSA) is highly preferred.
Best vs AverageThe ideal candidate will have strong experience with automated testing framework in Service Now and recent experience with integration testing. Previous hands-on experience with Service catalog requests is highly preferred.
