Job Description:We are seeking an Advanced-level Interaction Designer with + years of experience to join a high-performing digital design team within a leading financial services organization.This role will focus on designing and testing new features for Group (Employer) Investing and Advisor platforms, as well as supporting the creation of a new client-facing investment account transfer flow.The designer will also contribute to standardizing team processes and establishing repeatable design patterns.The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment, collaborates effectively with cross-functional partners, and demonstrates strong design system expertise and research capabilities.Roles & Responsibilities:Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners to understand and define requirements.Analyze research findings, user metrics, and advisor feedback to synthesize actionable insights.Design and test new features for employer investing and advisor digital platforms.Create and validate design concepts through peer reviews and cross-functional collaboration.Develop complete design documentation and delivery-ready specifications.Establish client experience success metrics and measure design impact.Facilitate usability testing and participate in research initiatives.Create wireframes, task flows, interaction models, and high-fidelity prototypes.Present design rationale, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.Facilitate ideation sessions and design critiques.Conduct competitive audits and interaction pattern analysis within the financial services space.Contribute to standardizing design systems and repeatable processes.Balance “done vs. perfect” while maintaining client experience quality standards.Must Have:+ years of Interaction / Product Design experience.Advanced proficiency in Figma (design systems, prototyping, component libraries).Strong experience working with and contributing to design systems.Experience conducting desk research and discovery work.Experience integrating research insights into product design decisions.Ability to articulate design strategy, rationale, risks, and trade-offs.Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.Experience designing usable interfaces across multiple platforms.Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.Nice to Have:Expertise in Figma Auto-Layout.Strong Figma prototyping knowledge (variables & conditionals).Experience planning and conducting evaluative research.Experience in financial services or insurance domain.Experience facilitating workshops.Familiarity with Mural.Master’s degree or certification in Design, HCI, CS, or related field.Experience working within large organizations and agile environments.“Mindlance is an equal-opportunity employer.
