Ab Initio Developer | ETL & Data Integration (Banking)
Experience
Required:
8–10 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, PDL, Meta programming).
- Perform Unix shell scripting for automation and process integration.
- Work with schedulers like Stonebranch, Control-M, Autosys to manage ETL workflows.
- Write complex queries and perform data operations using Oracle and Teradata SQL
. - Handle end-to-end ETL project implementation
, from development to production support. - Ensure data quality, integration, and adherence to data architecture standards
. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a live environment.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams in the banking/financial services domain
.
Required Skills & Expertise:

- Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Schedulers: Stonebranch, Control-M, Autosys
- Databases: Oracle, Teradata SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with end-to-end ETL implementation
- Production support experience in ETL environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred/Domain
Experience:
- Prior experience in banking or financial services projects
- Understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture
