People Soft Techno Functional Lead

Pay Rate: CAD $55 - $65/HR INC

We are seeking an experienced People Soft Techno Functional Lead to manage development, customization, and upgrade projects for People Soft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in People Tools and strong functional knowledge of FSCM modules.

• Analyze functional requirements and design technical solutions using People Tools.
• Develop and debug customizations using Application Designer, People Code, Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR, XML Publisher, and Integration Broker.
• Lead and execute full lifecycle upgrade projects for People Soft Tools and FSCM applications, including Oracle DB upgrades and PUM image updates.
• Perform code retrofitting, impact analysis, and comprehensive testing post-upgrade.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration and process improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

• 12–14+ years of People Soft technical development experience.
• Expertise in People Tools:
  Application Designer, Application Engine, People Code, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, XML Publisher.
• Strong functional knowledge of FSCM modules: GL, AP, AR, AM, Billing, Projects, Procurement, Inventory Management.
• Experience in at least:
• 2 full lifecycle People Tools upgrades.
• 2 full lifecycle FSCM application upgrades with Oracle DB.
• 2 full lifecycle FSCM upgrades with PUM image adoption.
• Proven ability to understand custom objects, perform retrofitting, and validate functionality post-upgrade.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with People Soft Test Framework (PTF).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Exposure to cloud environments and containerization.
