Description:

1. Network Design & Planning

Design and plan LAN| WAN| and wireless networks.

Create and maintain network architecture diagrams and documentation.

2. Network Configuration & Implementation Configure routers| switches| firewalls| load balancers| and VPNs.

Implement routing protocols (OSPF| BGP)| VLANs| and QoS policies.

3. Network Monitoring & Maintenance

Monitor performance| bandwidth| and availability using network monitoring tools.

Perform regular maintenance| upgrades| and patching of network devices.

4. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

Diagnose and resolve network outages| latency issues| and connectivity problems.

Conduct root-cause analysis and create incident reports.

5. Network Security

Manage firewalls| IDSIPS| and access control policies.

Ensure network compliance with security standards and apply security hardening.

6. Documentation

Maintain accurate network configuration records| SOPs| and change logs.

Document topology changes and network inventory.

7. Collaboration & Support

Work with crossfunctional teams (security| cloud| server| application).

Provide L2L3 support for network-related issues and user escalations.

8. Cloud & Hybrid Networking (Modern Requirement) Configure cloud networking components (VPC| VNet| VPN Gateways).

Manage hybrid connectivity like Express Route or Direct Connect.

9. Network Optimization

Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning.

Recommend improvements based on monitoring insights.

10. Business Continuity

Implement and maintain redundancy| failover| and backup configurations.

Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
