We’re looking for a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in infrastructure security to join our team. This role is not just about uptime—it’s about building secure, robust, and auditable systems across both cloud and on‑premise environments. You’ll lead initiatives that harden our systems, automate security into infrastructure workflows, and embed security into the core of our operations.

This is a senior, hands‑on role—ideal for someone who thinks like a security engineer but operates like an SRE, with broad systems knowledge and a strong automation mindset.

Infrastructure & Security Hardening

Design and operate highly available, secure infrastructure across both on‑premises and cloud environments (primarily Linux‑based).

Lead hardening efforts for Kubernetes, bare‑metal servers, VMs, IAM, and internal network infrastructure.

Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews to proactively identify and close security gaps.

Security Automation & Compliance

Automate everything—configuration management, compliance reporting, detection logic, and remediation workflows using tools like Ansible and Terraform.

Build and maintain security automation across hybrid environments (cloud and physical).

Collaborate on audits and maintain evidence for security standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Observability, Response & Forensics

Implement and maintain security‑focused observability: log collection, alerting, and anomaly detection using ELK, Loki, Datadog, or equivalent tools.

Lead incident response, forensic analysis, and post‑mortem reviews focused on continuous improvement.

Ensure effective log management and retention policies for both compliance and operational needs.

Collaboration & Engineering Leadership

Work closely with platform, infrastructure, and application teams to embed security by design.

Provide leadership in design reviews, change management, and post‑incident analysis.

Champion preventative security and reliability improvements through automation and system architecture.

What You Bring

5+ years in Site Reliability, Security Engineering, or Systems Engineering roles with production system ownership.

Deep experience with Linux systems administration and hardening in both cloud and on‑prem environments.

Strong working knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and system observability.

Proficiency with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

Familiarity with endpoint security, networking, firewalls, TLS, VPNs, and access controls.

Scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.

Experience with security monitoring, alerting, and SIEM/log aggregation platforms.

Hands‑on experience participating in or preparing for security audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).

Bonus:
Security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, CEH).
