Position: Consultant, Business Insights (12 month contract)

Overview

We have a contract position available in the Toronto office for a Business Insights Consultant. In this position, the candidate will be providing objective, fact-based consulting to our Leadership Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital Marketing and Technology departments, collaboratively providing recommendations on our business optimization and digital value evolution. The candidate is also responsible to build reporting solutions to help the regional and the field team understand what drives our business’ current performance and help inform strategy of what will drive performance in the future.

This position is an excellent match for someone with strong analytical skills and communication/presentation aptitude.

Our Business Insights team is dedicated to uncover and articulate meaningful insights that inspire great advertising, great food and award-winning promotional programs. We strive to improve the guest experience with the goal of redefining McDonald’s brand perception. Sometimes we adapt methodology from our global markets, but just as often or more, we need to design our own solutions. We are on a journey to become one of the strongest, most dynamic business insights teams in Canada as well as in the McDonald’s system.

Duties

In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Business Updates:

  • Partnering with digital marketing team to qualify and enhance offer strategies and tactics. Outputting business cases for campaign execution.
  • Model impact on projections that feed into larger overall McDonald’s phase planning.
  • Provide regular updates and analysis on digital platform performance, including customer trends, sales/financial impacts and growth of platform.
