Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2026 placement with a start date of May 2026 and an end date of August 2026.
Eligibility requirements: To be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:
- Be returning to school after the work term end-date of August 2026; or
- Not returning to school (i.e., graduating in April/August 2026) but you require the work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully.
Ensure you meet these eligibility requirements before applying; candidates who apply but are found ineligible are not considered.
What is the opportunity?
The Data Analyst Co‑op will work closely with the Corporate Client Group (CCG) National Operation’s Data Analytics team to support the business with the management of data, reporting and process improvement initiatives. The incumbent should possess data and management information knowledge and a strong hold on MS Excel and VBA; familiarity with MS Access is also required. Strong problem solving, time management and attention to detail will help ensure success in this role.
What will you do?
- Support the implementation of robust database and reporting systems for the CCG team and senior management.
- Fulfill ad-hoc and periodic data requests based on business requirements.
- Analyze data for useful insights and build meaningful dashboards & data visualizations.
- Automate reporting processes to help the team save resources.
- Perform data mining, cleanup and investigate discrepancies to enhance data quality.
- Support database administration activities and troubleshoot user inquiries.
- Document and diagram key system and data management processes.
What do you need to succeed?
Must‑have
- 3rd or 4th year student with a minimum of one Co‑Op placement or relatable experience.
- Working towards an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or Engineering.
- Intermediate level of MS Office with a strong focus on Excel & VBA and familiarity with Access.
- Related knowledge and experience in database and data management principals.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, meet time‑sensitive deadlines and prioritize work.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Team player and also able to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven capabilities in effective management of tasks and delivering high quality work.
