As a Software Engineering Expert specializing in Crypto and Alternative Trading Products at Questrade, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital asset and alternative offerings. You’ll be instrumental in building the user interfaces and core infrastructure for our retail crypto trading platforms and internal administrative tools, expanding our crypto capabilities across all Questrade products, and launching new alternative trading products within our Growth Portfolio entity.

• Platform Development:
  Architect, design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure full‑stack applications for Questrade's retail crypto and alternatives trading platforms, leveraging modern architectural patterns, micro‑frontend approaches, and best‑in‑class technologies.
• Infrastructure Expansion:
  Drive the expansion of crypto infrastructure across various Questrade products, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and future scalability.
• New Product Launches:
  Lead the development and launch of new crypto capabilities for clients and internal teams, from ideation to deployment, with an emphasis on speed‑to‑market and quality.
• Growth Portfolio Innovation:
  Contribute to the architecture, build, and delivery of other new alternative trading products within the dedicated Growth Portfolio entity, actively identifying and adopting emerging technologies.
• API Design & Integration:
  Create, document, and integrate with clear, efficient, and secure APIs (including RESTful and Web Socket APIs) to facilitate all aspects of crypto and alternative transactions, setting standards for integration and developer experience.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  Coach and mentor junior and intermediate team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and adoption of innovative development practices within the software development team.
