About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an 8 month contract Agile Delivery Lead (formerly Scrum Master) to join the Corus Technology team. Reporting to the Team Lead, Digital Projects and Agile Practices, the successful candidate will be accountable for supporting our product managers and business teams, developing high-performing Agile teams to deliver best-in-class products. Additionally, they will provide project management support for initiatives within the Revenue and Digital portfolios, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery oversight.

You

will contribute by:
  • Own and facilitate all Agile ceremonies (daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
  • Ensure the needs of the Agile team are adequately addressed, and obstacles in the team's path are cleared (e.g. dependencies, risks, impediments, and improvements).
  • Keep track of product pacing and delivery through on-going product release planning, product burn-down/Time to Market metrics, ensuring the team is delivering on committed work at a consistent and sustainable pace.
  • Develop and manage project schedule, identifying and tracking all key product deliverables, milestones and launch support activities.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner, internal and external stakeholders to ensure all dependencies and risks are communicated, understood, tracked, and monitored to mitigate impacts.
  • Manage complex code deliveries from external vendors, coordinating with internal teams on QA test plans and end-user acceptance testing.
  • Support the Product Owner prepare project and stakeholder communications including project status reports and steering committee updates.
  • Maintain essential delivery and project artifacts (e.g. Project Charter, Project Roadmaps, Risks and Dependencies Log).
Skills and experience you will bring:
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or related experience.
  • You are a champion of the Agile methodologies with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams to deliver best-in-class products.
  • Experience working with various Agile delivery methodologies and practices, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
  • Experience applying Project Management methodologies, i.e. Waterfall or hybrid Agile/Waterfall.
  • Experience in planning and executing large-scale system migrations and change management activities.
  • First-rate communication skills: you are an active listener, speak with clarity and can facilitate with ease.
  • Have experience working with remote and distributed teams.
  • A technical background or deep understanding of software development.
  • Well versed in Agile and Project Management tools, i.e. JIRA, Confluence, Product Plan, Project Management, and collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder relationship management.
