As our Test & Measurement Application Engineer based in the Toronto area, you will be supporting our Sales and Marketing channel, demonstrating products and providing training and application support to our wide ranging customer base in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RF and Microwave measurement applications along with a general knowledge of test equipment and excellent customer-facing skills.

Due to the nature of this role requiring security clearance, Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.

• Provide technical support for RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments.
• Develop and present at local seminars and customer training sessions.
• Provide technical feedback to the product line.
• Be the subject matter expert for pre/post-sales support, including customer demonstrations.

• BSEE (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of working in a customer facing role as an application engineer
• Strong understanding of RF and microwave measurement applications.
• Experience working with test equipment including spectrum/signal analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers.
• In‑depth experience with high‑speed digital testing ecosystem including knowledge on related interface standards (PCIe, DDR, USB, HDMI, UCIe)
• Understanding of the related measurement technics for signal and power integrity.
• Experience supporting customers with a solid understanding of current electronic industry.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills.
• Experience using CRM tools.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% within the region and occasional international travel.
• Instrument automation programming experience is an asset. (C/C++, Labview, Matlab, Python).
• English based role. French speaking an asset.
• Position is based in Toronto, Ontario.
• Due to the nature of this role requiring security clearance, Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
