Our cybersecurity team is evolving, expanding into security architecture and review, and transitioning to a hybrid cloud environment with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We're seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer (12 month contract) to be a key player in this transformation. You will design and implement robust security solutions, influence our hybrid cloud security posture, and help elevate our team's cloud security expertise.

• Lead GCP & Hybrid Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement secure architectures for cloud-native applications, IaC, and platform services. Ensure security requirements are embedded across all enterprise architecture, bridging on‑prem and GCP environments.
• Drive Security Assessment & Review: Conduct comprehensive security reviews of proposed architectures and applications in GCP and on‑prem. Analyze software security, delivering actionable recommendations. Translate functional requirements into secure technical solutions.
• Contribute to Cyber Defense: Apply understanding of vulnerability analysis, threat intelligence, and incident response to inform secure designs and enhance our defensive posture across the dìreach hybrid environment.
• Mentor & Upskill the Team: Act as a subject matter expert, sharing GCP security best practices and architectural principles to develop the team's cloud security capabilities.

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, with 3+ years focused on cloud security architecture/engineering, specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven expertise in designing قلت secure cloud solutions, IaC, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and native GCP security servicesೋನಾ.
• Familiarity with vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, and incident response in a cloud context.
