Description

Are you passionate about simplifying complex systems and driving meaningful impact on a global scale? Join our Global Trade Services (GTS) team to transform the way products navigate international regulatory environments. We’re looking for a strategic thinker and builder; someone who can help develop scalable, tech-enabled solutions to ensure seamless and compliant product movement across borders.

This is more than a compliance role: it's a chance to redefine how trade classification and regulatory risk management operate at scale at Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Frameworks:
Define global strategies to meet diverse regulatory requirements across countries and product categories.
  • Design Scalable Systems:
Build mechanisms to operationalize classification and compliance processes across millions of products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Act as the connective tissue between product, tech, legal, operations, and policy teams.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement:
Use data-driven insights to optimize trade compliance processes and remove operational friction.
  • Risk Mitigation Through Measurement:
Build systems that proactively identify and address regulatory risks through metrics and automation.
A day in the life

Every day will be different—but here’s what you might expect:

  • Partnering with policy teams, tech, and legal stakeholders to develop innovative classification strategies
  • Leading strategy sessions to define the future of product classification for global trade
  • Evaluating the regulatory impact of new product launches or country expansions
  • Driving simplification by automating legacy manual processes
  • Translating compliance complexity into scalable, measurable systems
  • Develop KPIs to proactively assess and manage compliance risks
