Job Description

Reports to the Regional Director, IT, Central Canada and participates as a member of the Regional Technology Services team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that user problems are addressed consistent with the current Service Level Agreement.
  • Resolve Colleague Help Desk Tickets for the Region (Regional Shared Service).
  • Manage IT system disaster recovery and daily backup logs for the Region.
  • Deploy and maintain all employee workstation hardware.
  • Update Wi‑Fi logs and maintain all Guest and Back‑of‑House Wi‑Fi equipment in public, meeting space and guestrooms.
  • Review anti‑virus logs and resolve any issues on the Cortex XDR enterprise console for hotels.
  • Ensure all Wi‑Fi equipment is functional in public, meeting, and guestrooms.
  • Maintain all equipment/software inventory.
  • Complete all PCI initiatives.
  • Execute all hotel‑driven IT initiatives and projects under IT Director/SM supervision.
  • Maintain IDF and MDFs as per ACCOR standards.
  • Assist in maintaining standard guidelines.
  • Ensure monitoring of recovery systems – daily backups for the region.
  • Contribute to the Technology Services knowledge base.
  • Identify opportunities for new technology that may benefit the customer.
  • Participate in after‑hours on‑call support (24/7) with the regional IT team.
  • Participate in all regional aspects of IT projects as directed.
Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • A+ Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration and networking.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or equivalent.
  • Cisco certification or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of hotel operations (an asset).
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑starter with a strong sense of commitment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous supervisory and training experience (an asset).
Additional Information
  • The Ontario base salary range for this position is $65,000 – $80,000. Compensation is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and location.
