Toronto, ON (Hybrid)Duration: + monthsMust HavesEducation & ExperienceUniversity degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Minimum years’ IT experience in a large-scale enterprise environment, with at least years focused on information securityTechnical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of IT architecture, information security standards, risk management, and compliance best practicesExperience administering enterprise-level Unix-based serversStrong scripting skills (Shell, bash, Python or similar)Experience with database configuration (SQL Server, MySQL)Expert understanding of client/server application deployment and supportExperience with intrusion detection and prevention (host & network, active & passive)Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability scanning tools (, Metasploit, Nessus)Experience with network and security analysis toolsExperience selecting, configuring, and deploying security tools (, Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, Anti-DDOS)Ability to audit systems for compliance standards (, PCIDSS, PA-DSS)Plusses:Training or certification in project managementIT Security certifications (, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+)Experience in high-performance computing systems management and networkingBackground in forensic IT investigation and evidence gatheringExperience drafting and implementing information security standards and guidelinesFamiliarity with securing virtualized environments and servicesStrong understanding of process design, process integration, and process improvement methodologiesAbility to translate and leverage technical data into business recommendationsExperience delivering security awareness training
