The opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in test automation and a solid understanding of ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, with a focus on end-to-end testing, data validation, and ensuring system quality. A background in ETL testing, including writing and executing complex SQL queries to verify data consistency and accuracy, is highly desirable.

Your key responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Rest Assured

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or Azure Dev Ops

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BAs, Manual Testers, Developers) in an Agile SDLC environment

Manage QA efforts for complex systems, ensuring regulatory compliance in data workflows

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, promoting best practices in QA

Coordinate activities between onshore and offshore teams to ensure consistent delivery and communication

Support performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help manage resource allocation

Contribute to technical proposals and client presentations to support new business opportunities

Collaborate with stakeholders to align QA strategies with customer and business objectives

Leverage cloud-based testing strategies for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments

Drive efficient defect lifecycle management using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Test Rail

Skills and attributes for success:

Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies and deliverables

Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, etc.

Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills

Consulting mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into effective test strategies

Experience working with client stakeholders and managing distributed teams

Ability to understand and align testing initiatives with long-term business goals

To qualify for the role, you must have:

7+ years of experience in an Automation Test Lead or Tester role

7+ years of software implementation experience, preferably on transformation projects

In-depth knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress and Rest Assured

Proven expertise in ETL testing domains and complex data validation

Experience leading cross-functional teams of 6–12 members

Familiarity with cloud data platforms and CI/CD pipelines
