As an Azure Developer, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and optimizing applications and services on Microsoft Azure. They design and implement cloud‑native solutions using Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), while integrating APIs, databases, and messaging systems to deliver scalable applications. Their role includes writing code in languages like C#, Python, or JavaScript, automating deployments with CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as ARM templates or Bicep.

Azure Developers also embed security and compliance practices, implement monitoring and logging, and collaborate with architects, Dev Ops engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure applications are reliable, cost‑efficient, and aligned with organisational goals.
