Our client is expanding at the intersection of Life Sciences, Healthcare, AI, and innovation-driven business models
. We’re looking for a Business Development Senior Associate who is curious, analytical, and excited about shaping new ideas, partnerships, and investment opportunities in Canada’s innovation ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting science, technology, and commercial strategy
—and turning promising concepts into actionable opportunities.

• Identify and evaluate startups in Life Sciences (Biotech, Med Tech) and AI
• Lead due diligence, analyze data rooms, technology validation, and risk assessment
• Prepare clear investment memos to support management decisions

• Assist in negotiating NDAs, term sheets, and shareholder agreements
• Coordinate with legal teams and external partners throughout the deal process

• Build relationships with founders, VCs and incubators
• Represent the company at events and communicate our value proposition
• Support complex deal execution and problem-solving
• Mentor junior team members and interns during research and due diligence activities

Experience: 4–6 years in business development, investment, or related fields

Skills:

• Deal execution and financial modeling (DCF, Comps)
• Knowledge of Canadian innovation landscape (healthcare, AI)
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple pipelines

• Competitive compensation: $100,000–$150,000 + performance bonus and benefits
• Hybrid work model with a downtown Toronto office
• Travel within North America and have flexible hours for global meetings.
