Our client is seeking an experienced, certified Guidewire Policy Center Developer to join their Underwriting technology team. In this role, you will support and enhance Policy Center integrations, underwriting rules, and fraud-related workflows, helping them modernize and streamline core insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Guidewire Policy Center integrations with internal and external systems.
- Implement and optimize Underwriting (UW) rules, workflows, and business logic.
- Support integrations related to fraud detection, risk assessment, Trans Union, and other third‑party data services.
- Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Architecture, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality features and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across Policy Center modules and integration points.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guidewire certifications (Policy Center focused preferred).
- Hands‑on Guidewire Policy Center development and integration experience.
- Strong understanding of Underwriting processes, rules, and workflows.
- Experience with fraud risk assessment tools, Trans Union, and third‑party data services.
- Proficiency with GOSU, SOAP/REST integrations, XML, and related technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment—on‑site in Guelph (preferred) with flexibility to work out of Mississauga, Toronto, or Burlington offices.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Guidewire Developer
- Insurance underwriting experience
