We’re hiring an Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of integrations between AI-enabled applications and major EHR platforms (including Epic and MEDITECH
). This role is ideal for someone who has built enterprise‑grade healthcare integrations, understands clinical workflows, and can translate technical standards into reliable, secure production systems.
- Architect and deliver end‑to‑end integrations between AI solutions and EHR ecosystems (Epic, MEDITECH and other hospital systems as needed)
- Design interface strategies for real‑world deployments: event‑driven workflows, document/result filing, data synchronization, identity/context launch, and downstream audit/analytics
- Own integration governance: interface specifications, mapping documents, error handling/retries, monitoring, and rollout strategy
- Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to meet healthcare privacy and reliability expectations
- Support customer implementations (technical discovery, environment requirements, testing/UAT, go‑live readiness)
- HL7 v2 (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, MDM, etc.)
- FHIR R4 (core resources; read/write patterns where applicable)
- SMART on FHIR (launch context, OAuth2/OIDC, scopes)
- IHE profiles (as relevant to document workflows)
- CDC / CDA (document exchange where used)
- DICOM/DICOMweb (if dealing with imaging ecosystems; a plus)
- Terminologies
: SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT (depending on workflow) - Integration engines
:
Mirth Connect / Next Gen Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Inter Systems Health Share (any subset is fine; depth in at least one is expected)
- OAuth2/OIDC, SAML (SSO patterns), TLS, certificate management
- RBAC, least privilege, audit logging
- Experience with on‑prem and hybrid deployments, and operating in regulated environments
- 5+ years designing and delivering healthcare integrations in production
- Hands‑on experience implementing interfaces into EHR environments (Epic and/or MEDITECH strongly preferred)
- Strong ability to produce clear integration artifacts: ICDs, mapping specs, test plans, interface monitoring/runbooks
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams and customer stakeholders (IT, clinical informatics, security)
- Experience integrating or supporting AI/ML systems in production (model services, inference endpoints, monitoring)
- Familiarity with training or tuning AI/ML models (even at a high level)
- Experience with data pipelines, event streaming (Kafka), and observability stacks
If you’re an integration architect who enjoys building reliable, real‑world healthcare integrations—and wants to work at the intersection of AI and clinical systems—please apply with a short summary of your integration experience and which EHRs/standards you’ve worked with.
