WordPress Developer

We are looking for a talented web developer with a keen eye for design for the position of Word Press Developer. Word Press Developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.

Word Press Developers are required to work in teams alongside Back-end Developers, Graphic Designers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Taking Adobe XD files and coding testable, efficient HTML/CSS/JavaScript into responsive templates (we call alpha's)
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout design.

• Degree in Web Development or related field.
• Understanding of key design principles.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end frameworks ideally Vue.js.
• Understanding of server-side CSS and CSS preprocessors
• Experience with applications including Adobe XD, JIRA and Versioning software.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design, accessibility, performance optimization and Word Press integration.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• Good problem solving skills an interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Some knowledge of Azure is beneficial.

We are currently all working remotely 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week.
